Make a Donation

Not everyone can adopt, foster, or volunteer, but there are other ways you can support our shelter. We rely on donations to help keep our pets healthy, happy, and comfortable.  From Kuranda dog and cat beds to cat litter, we are always in need of supplies. Your donations are used pay for the medical care of sick and injured animals, new kennels, items such as food, food bowls and water bowls, treats, toys, and cleaning supplies.

Our mission is to provide a safe, comfortable place for the homeless animals in our care until we can find them a loving, forever home.  It is also our mission to educate the community about responsible pet ownership and the proper care for your pet.  We love volunteers who stop by and help teach the dogs new tricks; such as: sit, shake and stay. We welcome our community to come visit the wonderful cats and dogs we have available for adoption.  We are open 5 days a week from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.  We are closed on Wednesdays and Sundays. You can find our wish list by clicking here.

You can drop your donation off at our shelter any time we are open.  If you're not sure what to buy, you can always make a monetary donation by clicking the PayPal button below or by mailing your donation to:
  Logan County Humane Society
  PO Box 1001
  Russellville, KY  42276
You can also stop by the shelter with your donation.  We would love to see you!

Donate Your Time

Did you know you could make a dog or cat so happy by just spending 30 minutes a day with them?  We always welcome volunteers who want to play with the dogs and cats, walk the dogs, or simply pet them.  This may not seem like a lot of time, but 30 minutes can mean so much to the pets to know they are loved.
